Mr. Holeman is Founder and Executive Director of CEI. He formed CEI as a non-profit agency, drawing on his years of personal experience in mentor ing and donating his personal time and money to disadvantaged youth in the San Francisco Bay Area.

He raised ten foster kids between 1972 and 1979 and has spent the past 20 years working with at-risk high school students in San Francisco.

Mr. Holeman won the 2004 Golden Apple Award for Education from the Daly City/Colma Chamber of Commerce.
